About The Redhead

Head shotMy name is Sara, aka The Risqué Redhead. I am the youngest of eleven children. A wife and mother to three sons; ages 16/10/6. I am a natural introvert but get me going on a topic/book/author I love and I will not know when to stop talking. I have been an avid reader for many years. I thank my late father for encouraging me to always read and handing me book after book even though For Whom the Bell Tolls may not have been so appropriate for a girl in the sixth grade! It has been said “Sara would not be Sara without a book in her hand” which is true but lately that has transformed into a Nook.

Getting lost in a book is always worth a sleepless night for me. Having those characters and places come to life in your imagination is priceless. ~Me

I am a hopeless romantic who reads all over the genre while being annoying picky about it. I also have a love for the classics, mystery/suspense, humor, biographies and though I read Paranormal in my younger years, it would take a FANTASTIC/EPIC book to make me read it now. I am currently lost in the world of M/M Romance. I find the boys who love boys heartbreaking and beautiful beyond any words I can express.

“All good books are alike in that they are truer than if they had really happened and after you are finished reading one you will feel that all that happened to you and afterwards it all belongs to you: the good and the bad, the ecstasy, the remorse and sorrow, the people and the places and how the weather was.
Ernest Hemingway

My parents were good Catholics even when their priest told them they could use birth control after the 6th kid! We wore better clothes than the Duggers but didn’t’ have a TV show. :o)
